Uh, I thought Ruger still had the 77/17s in WSM in production as over priced small game getters. The problem with WSM is that performance at range is hard to perceive when most people can't/don't shoot much past 150 yards. You have to have everything perfect from a steady rest to make long range hits.I put the current Burris 3-12X on my .22 Hornet Exemplar. Magnification of 12X in a EER scope is about the limit for me on hold-ability and twitchy-ness, and it focuses well under 20 yards, maybe even 10 yards.
